The Magic of Elvis Peoples Choice Awards supports Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre.

We are very proud to be supporting such a worthwhile cause as Hearth Place. This very warm and friendly support centre which serves people from all over the Durham Region provides caring support for people living with cancer all at no cost. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Hearth Place.

Hearth Place, est. 1997, is a support centre located in Oshawa, Ontario where cancer patients and their families can come and share their experiences, find resources and discover new ways to care for themselves and each other. As a drop-in centre in the comfort of a homelike atmosphere, Hearth Place is committed to providing community support for patients and their families dealing with cancer. They offer peer support, information, a resource centre, wellness programs and an ongoing lecture and discussion series.

Helping Our Future Leaders

We are very pleased to announce that this years show will also help support our young people from the Navy League and Sea Cadets. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the Ajax/Pickering Navy League. 

Royal Canadian Sea Cadets is a youth organization sponsored in partnership by the Department of National Defence (DND) and the civilian group the Navy League of Canada (NLOC). The Sea Cadet Program is an exciting program that provides opportunities and challenges relevant for today's youth.

• Exciting - Adventure Training, boating & sailing, sports, regattas, ship visits

• Opportunities - summer camps, national and international exchanges, develop life-long friendships, learn many new skills

• Challenges - contribute to the community, accept responsibility, become a leader

Nationally, over 10,000 young men and women aged 12 to 18 years take part in Sea Cadet training programs at the local Corps during the school year. Many more cadets continue their training at 5 Cadet Summer Training Centres (CSTC) located across Canada. The cadet program is FREE to join and welcomes all young people.
