September 2006: 
The Magic Of Elvis Peoples Choice Awards 2007 partners with Lady Luck Music of Montreal to create the first annual Durham Region's Peoples Choice Awards. The event was created to give the fans of Elvis Tribute Artists the opportunity to see and hear there favorite ETA's in a true concert experience. Bob Attwell producer of the show says "as a fan of Elvis we wanted to showcase the best ETA's in a concert setting where fans could relive the "Magic" that is Elvis. We want to use the best concert sound system and an amazing light show to help create a real ELVIS experience. With the talent of our amazing ETA's and a 5 star production behind them we know that fans will be blown away"

November 2006:
CKDO Radio, Oshawa Oldies Radio joins the Magic Of Elvis Team as Title sponsor of the event.

January 2007:
The Magic Of Elvis Peoples Choice Awards signs on with Evolution Lights & Sound to produce the look and feel of the 2007 People's Choice Awards. Evolution Light & Sound will bring the latest sound and light technology together  to produce a true Vegas style experience for The Magic Of Elvis People's Choice Awards. The show will feature a full concert sound system and state of the art lighting to re-create a fantastic sound and light show guaranteed to thrill the audience.
